WHAT DOES OUR RESEARCHERS AND TUTORS (called SO Mentors) BENEFIT FROM THIS INTERVENTION?

The Zambian SO Mentors are admitted at our college to undergo training in the following courses of the Serve Ourselves program:

  1. Community Awareness
  2. Research for Impact & Project Management
  3. Teaching Children
  4. Sampling & Data Collection
  5. Excel

Upon completion a number of our best candidates are sent on field trips for exposure and practical experience in the communities for a short period of time. This is indicated on their certificates so as to instill a long lasting impact in them.

Serve Ourselves’ core work is centered on quality education for all; these Researchers and Tutors are multifaceted, they attain leadership capacity and are able join many other players in Research and Development. 

With this empowerment, they can work as Monitoring and Evaluation Officers, Research Assistants, Community Engagement Officers, ECE Teachers, Tutors and many other roles in research.

Serve Ourselves will also engage these candidates time after time for different research and community work in accordance with its mandate in ensuring that everyone has access to quality learning.
